It's happening...!!

I'm checking off #3 on my "Things To Do in 2013" list! 

I am excited to BE A MATCH to someone special. Someone who is loved and who loves. Fighting cancer (or any disease) is no small task and I have what could save someone's life. 

I give this gift with a happy heart. 

I have officially signed up (as of 1/23/13) on BE THE MATCH to donate my bone marrow to patients in need of a transplant.

I JUST (today) received my BE THE MATCH paperwork in the mail. 

I'm happy. Really happy. 

I'm swabbing away and a feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I'm excited for each new present step. 

I'll be dropping these saliva swabs in the mail tonight and the rest is up to the good Lord and the doctors making the matches.

BOOM. #3 on my "Things To Do in 2013" list is done. For now. 

Until I get MATCHED and give the gift of life. 

I'm thankful and grateful for the life I live and want others to be able to enjoy theirs, too. That's why this blog is called Living THE Life. Because I really do believe that my life is awesome. I live each day to the fullest. And try not to complain about the things that I cannot control, like the amount of homework I have this week.
